Designer supervision is a package of measures, realized for assurance of correspondence of construction solutions and performances of object, placed in operation, with solutions and performances, foreseen in project documentation.

Primary targets of designer supervision are disclosure of deviations from project, infringement in technology and quality of materials employed and (if required) taking of decisions regarding making of necessary modifications in project. Designer supervision helps to avoid all moments, which can bring depreciation of quality, inhibition of safety and robustness of buildings and constructions or deterioration of their performance characteristics.

Given type of control is performed by inspection of construction work in progress on objects, by their put into operation and driving up to the rated capacity, as well by temporary shutdown and liquidation of objects.
In certain circumstances the necessity of designer supervision is established by law, in particular by Federal law of Russian Federation «About industrial security of hazardous production facilities» foresees performance of designer supervision by project organization in process of construction, widening, reconstruction, technical re-equipping, temporary shut down or liquidation of hazardous facility. Decision about organization of designer supervision is taken by customer.

Designer supervision is performed on basis of Contract, where interrelation regulations and mechanism of leading of designed supervision are stipulated. Designer supervision assures protection of interests of Customer and is guaranty of precise project execution!
